Tring plus card in TM5400 super?

This may be a silly question but will the tring card work in a tm5400ci super?
Im torn between buying the tring card or a spiderbox!!
All i want is the footy really.

I think it will from what I have heard, worst scenario is you would need a conax cam as well.
