Is it true all PS3 games are region free and can play on any version of the PS3 no matter what country its from?

yes this is true, I have 4 games bought from teh US for my Irish PS3. However the capability is there for developers to add their own restrictions. This is also tru for Blu Ray movies, currently the majority are region free. But some are not. Always check in advance!
